Antonio Sampaio Péres

Mr. Antonio Péres graduated from Niterói Law School, nowadays known as Federal Fluminense University, in December of 1955. Mr. Péres worked as a solicitor and attorney from October 1953 to December 1960. Having passed the Espírito Santo State Judicature examination in 1960, he worked as a Deputy Judge until July 1962. In 1962, he passed the Rio de Janeiro State Judicature examination and began a career in many judicial districts, such as the Civil State Court of Appeals of Limited Jurisdiction (5th and 4th Chambers) and the Court of Justice (2nd Civil Chamber) until March 1990, at which time he voluntarily retired as a TJRJ (Rio de Janeiro Justice Court) Judge. Mr. Antonio Péres returned to the Espírito Santo State Legislature in 1990, where he began a new career, until May of 1998, when he was compulsorily retired as Special Judge of the Judicial Division and restarted his career as an attorney. During this period, he taught at Campos Law School - RJ and at Cachoeiro de Itapemerim Law School - ES, for 15 years, occupying the Civil Law (Obligations and Family and Successions), Forensics and Judiciary Organization and International Public Law departments.
